Job Opportunity: Senior Children's Residential Support Worker

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed individual to join a residential service in Merthyr Tydfil, supporting young people aged 8 to 18 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

We seek an enthusiastic, resilient, and motivated person eager to make a positive impact on young people's lives, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and behaviourally in a safe and caring environment.

Note: Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold a full driver's license.

  • Salary: £32,090 - £36,313 (including sleep allowance)
  • Location: Merthyr Tydfil
  • Hours: Full-time, Permanent
  • Shift Pattern: 9am - 11pm with sleep shift from 11pm - 7am, and 7:30am start

  • Lead by example and support shift management

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience as a Children's Support Worker or with Young People (ESSENTIAL)
  • Experience in healthcare or social care settings (ESSENTIAL)
  • Level 3 NVQ in Children & Young People (ESSENTIAL)
