A reputable children's care organization in Buxton is seeking a Senior Children's Adventure Care Worker to provide therapeutic support in a children's residential home. You will manage placements while promoting outdoor activities and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates must hold a Level 3 diploma in childcare and have a genuine interest in enhancing children's lives. The role offers a competitive salary and supportive work environment.

Hours: 4 days and sleep nights on, 6 days off (365 rota)
Pay rate: £41,751 to £46,197 per annum, including opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate
What we are looking for: Peak View is a two-bed, Ofsted registered children's home providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic support. Over a 12 week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education and participation in outdoor/adventure activities. If you are an experienced, qualified children's residential care worker who is eager to expand their skills and knowledge, we would love to hear from you!

*Estimated full time salary based on a pay rate of £14.15 to £16.05 per hour for days (depending on qualifications held) and working 12 sleep-nights per month on average (at £60 per sleep night).
