Qualifications

Pay rate: £41,751 to £46,197 per annum, including opportunities to pick up overtime at an enhanced rate

What we are looking for:

Bly House is a two-bed, Ofsted registered children's home providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed therapeutic support. Over a 12-week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilization in a nurturing environment. Each placement includes PACE principles, access to education, and outdoor activities.

*Estimated full-time salary based on a pay rate of £14.15 to £16.05 per hour, working 12 sleep-nights per month at £60 per sleep night.
Essential requirements:
  • At least 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
  • Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare or close to completion
  • Full UK driving license
  • Keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities
  • Right to work in the UK without restrictions
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practices
  • Training in de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention (e.g., Team Teach, MAPA)
  • Values aligned with Esland's, including a therapeutic, person-centered approach
  • Applicants must be aged 21 or above due to industry regulations
