Job summary

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Wellbeing Practitioner to join the CYP mental health team in Warrington, delivering assessments and low intensity interventions to children and young people across education settings.

You will support schools and partner agencies, coordinate care plans and contribute to safeguarding processes while developing services in line with national CYP mental health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education Mental Health Practitioner PGCert or PGDip required for roles in MHSTs.
• Senior Wellbeing Practitioner PGDip or commitment to complete while in post.
• Registration with BABCP or the BPS is required.
• Experience delivering low intensity psychological interventions for CYP.

Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload of specialist and generic work based on competence.
• Conduct assessments and provide low intensity interventions for children and families.
• Coordinate care plans and manage risk with relevant services and families.
• Collaborate with schools, social care and other partner agencies.
• Attend safeguarding meetings and maintain high clinical standards.
