Overview

Senior Chemistry Technician – Immediate start. Full-time, permanent contract (Term Time Only, 39 weeks). Hours: 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week). Excellent salary and career progression opportunities for an experienced Chemistry Technician or Senior Chemistry Technician.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Science Teachers to plan and carry out practical lessons.
• Train other Science Technicians to ensure correct safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lab equipment.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK
• UK Bachelor’s Degree in Science
• Clear and updated Enhanced DBS
• First Aid qualification or relevant training
• Health & Safety qualification or relevant training
• Experience as a Chemistry Technician or Senior Chemistry Technician in UK schools
• British-trained or overseas-trained Senior Chemistry Technician candidates are welcome

Salary

£35,200 to £37,423 per annum, pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience.
