What will you do? Make an impact!

Join our team to help provide a technical management service to assist the Shift Manager and organise the site chemists to achieve the site's business objectives.

  1. Support and control the site's analytical testing and assessment requirements including all EA/UU technical issues.
  2. Ensure acceptance and dispatch operations are in line with the company's BMS, ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems.
  3. Identify and report on opportunities and trends in the site's technical control/analysis systems, so that the Company can effectively develop its continuous improvement programme.
  4. Raise non-conformances on any incoming loads in line with BMS procedures immediately.
  5. Generate load/dispatch paper-work in line with company & legislative requirements.
  6. Coach, train and support the junior Site Chemists to ensure outgoing exceeds incoming.
Do you have what it takes?
  1. Experience of managing a team of laboratory staff, coaching, training and supporting junior staff in their development.
  2. Experience of using BMS systems to manage non-conformances.
  3. Ensure H&S policies are complied with at all times.
  4. Generate activity reports as required.
