What will you do? Make an impact!
- Join our team to help provide a technical management service to assist the Shift Manager and organise the site chemists to achieve the site's business objectives.
- Support and control the site's analytical testing and assessment requirements including all EA/UU technical issues.
- Ensure acceptance and dispatch operations are in line with the company's BMS, ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems.
- Identify and report on opportunities and trends in the site's technical control/analysis systems to develop the Company's continuous improvement programme.
- Raise non-conformances on any incoming loads in line with BMS procedures immediately.
- Generate load/dispatch paperwork in line with company & legislative requirements.
- Coach, train and support the junior Site Chemists to ensure outgoing exceeds incoming.
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience of managing a team of laboratory staff, coaching, training and supporting junior staff in their development.
- Experience of using BMS systems to manage non-conformances.
- Ensure H&S policies are complied with at all times.
- Generate activity reports as required.
