Working with a key BakerHicks client in the chemical sector, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers working to deliver an exciting new batch of chemical production facilities.
The end client site is located in Europe, however, the design team are located in the UK, primarily in Manchester.
This contract position is full-time (initially 3 months, but with the potential to extend) and provides flexible working with a minimum of one day per week in our Salford Quays office.
The Project
The project is currently in the FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) phase and focuses on batch chemical processing. It is a relatively small-scale project, and you will be working alongside one other process engineer to deliver the FEED package. This includes developing P&IDs, heat and mass balances, project schedules, and equipment datasheets.
As the Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for progressing the design from the existing concept through to detailed FEED deliverables.
You'll be supported by the broader BakerHicks process team, which includes a number of highly experienced engineers who can provide guidance and input as needed.
