Job summary

The Thomas Lord Pub & Restaurant in West Meon is seeking a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You’ll work with a passionate group delivering fresh, seasonal dishes in a busy food-led pub set in the Hampshire countryside.

Live-in accommodation is available for the right candidate, with a clear pathway to further development within Upham Inns’ expanding pub group. If you bring energy, dedication and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar level position, as well as an aptitude for leadership.
• Candidates with skills in preparing high quality fresh food dining will be at a particular advantage.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Be happy running a section ensuring high standards are maintained at all times
• Assist the Head chef/Sous chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
• Setting an example and guiding for junior chefs
• To complete all training in a timely manner
• To comply with the statutory requirements for fir, health and safety, licensing and employment law and to ensure that other team members are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance with them
• Ensuring that you can follow the Food safety laws and requirements
• Have a positive and approachable manner alongside strong team player qualities
