Location: 2AA Rosette Michelin‑listed Restaurant Amersham Buckinghamshire

Salary: £37,000 per annum (including Tronc)

Contract Type: Full‑Time Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our award‑winning kitchen team. Working alongside our talented chefs in a 2AA Rosette Michelin‑listed restaurant you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dishes that celebrate seasonal ingredients and culinary excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills in a high‑calibre setting known for its commitment to quality and creativity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Section Leadership: Oversee a specific section of the kitchen ensuring smooth operations, quality control and exceptional food presentation.
  • High‑Quality Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to our menu specifications and 2AA Rosette standards, maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
  • Mentorship & Support: Guide and support Commis Chefs and junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging skill development.
  • Stock Management: Monitor ingredient levels, manage orders and ensure proper storage and rotation to maintain freshness and minimise waste.
  • Kitchen Hygiene & Safety: Uphold high standards of cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Creative Input: Collaborate with senior chefs on menu development and seasonal specials, contributing creative ideas that enhance the dining experience.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect dishes before they leave the kitchen, guaranteeing impeccable quality and presentation for each plate.
  • Cross‑Section Coordination: Work seamlessly with other sections to ensure efficient service during peak times.
  • Event Support: Assist with private dining events and tasting menus, ensuring the highest standards are consistently met.
Essential Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high‑end restaurant setting (2AA Rosette or Michelin experience is desirable).
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills to efficiently manage your section.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain high standards under pressure during busy service periods.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred but not essential with the right experience.
