Thomas Franks is seeking a talented Senior Chef for our Bolton location. You will work with fresh seasonal ingredients, creating bespoke menus in a fast-paced environment. Job description

A private day school in Bolton, Greater Manchester. It comprises a co-educational nursery, co-educational infant school, single sex junior schools and single sex senior schools including sixth forms. Catering for 2850 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of Mid morning break with full lunch offering including grab & go. There is lots of hospitality offerings at this location. Operating predominantly Monday to Friday with exceptions for events etc on some weekends. There is plenty of free parking in the vicinity of the school.

We are looking for a talented Senior Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Bolton.

If you are a current Head chef or Sous Chef working with fresh ingredients and in a fast paced environment.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team, providing lunch & hospitality.
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Excellent customer service skills

Knowledge / competencies:

• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
