Job summary

Pizza Pilgrims is seeking a Senior Chef who specializes in Neapolitan pizza to lead our kitchen team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will drive pizza quality, manage stock, ensure safety standards, and oversee launches of new menu items in a busy, vibrant environment.

Qualifications

• Senior Chef responsible for creating the best Neapolitan pizzas.

• Skills in high-volume, fast-paced kitchen operations are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen team to deliver consistent Neapolitan pizzas.
• Ensure health & safety compliance across the kitchen.
• Manage stock and ingredients to minimize waste.
• Oversee successful guest pizza launches and menu items.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and overall cleanliness.
• Uphold high pizza quality for every guest.

We're on the lookout for superstar Senior Pizza Chefs to join us. If you love proper Neapolitan pizza and take pride in making people genuinely happy, this might just be the job for you.

In 2012, Thom & James drove a Piaggio ape Tuk Tuk all the way from Sicily to London on a 'Pilgrimage' to learn the secrets of perfect Italian pizza. They went on to set up a market stall in Soho with an oven in the back of the van before opening their first actual pizzeria on Dean Street. Nowadays we have over 20 award-winning pizzerias across the UK, we’ve got our own Pizza Academy where we run training workshops every day, and we’re also a BCORP - something we’re extremely proud about achieving. We pride ourselves on using the best ingredients from Naples including Caputo flour, fresh fior di latte, salsiccia e friarielle , to make the best Neapolitan pizza every day.

As a Senior Chef, you’ll be a specialist in creating the best Neapolitan Pizza’s, and for every guest to leave with a full belly, and already planning their next visit. You’ll also be accountable for:
