Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Manchester

Salary: Up to £70,000 plus package

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing cost management team based in Manchester. This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious QS to play a key role in delivering high-value, technically complex projects for world-class clients across a diverse range of sectors.

You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative team environment, encouraged to lead, innovate, and grow — with clear pathways for development both within the Manchester office and across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead full cost management services from project inception through to completion.
  2. Manage multiple complex projects, ensuring delivery excellence for key clients.
  3. Support and mentor junior team members, helping to shape the next generation of QS talent.
  4. Produce high-level feasibility studies, cost estimates, and detailed cost plans at all design stages.
  5. Prepare and manage tender documentation, analyse tender returns, and advise on procurement strategies.
  6. Provide sound contract advice and oversee post-contract administration, variation management, and final account settlements.
  7. Attend client and project meetings, providing timely and accurate cost reporting.
  8. Build and sustain trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and delivery partners.
  9. Contribute to wider business planning and support in securing repeat and new business opportunities.
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar RICS-accredited discipline.
