As an Associate Building Surveyor, you'll work on significant UK projects across various sectors, leading multidisciplinary teams and supporting your professional growth.

Your Purpose:

1. Manage refurbishment, improvement, and modernization projects, including feasibility studies, specifications, estimates, statutory approvals, and contract administration.
2. Work mainly in Devon and Cornwall, sometimes further afield.
3. Apply standard forms of building contracts such as JCT and NEC.
4. Provide professional building surveying services with 2-3 years post-chartership experience.
5. Mentor and train surveyors, support junior staff, and contribute to business development through bids.

What can you bring:

• B.Sc. (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar RICS-accredited degree.
• Chartered status (highly desirable).
• Strong technical surveying knowledge and experience.
• Client management skills with a focus on profitability and business development.
• Mentoring and team leadership experience.
• Technical drafting skills and understanding of health, safety, and statutory compliance.
• Specialist skills in areas like Dilapidations, Party Wall, Fire Risk, Access Assessments.
• Excellent time management and commitment.
