NHS Scotland is seeking individuals to join a new nursing team for a ward caring for patients pre- and post-surgery. This fixed-term or secondment role requires candidates to demonstrate leadership and high standards of patient care. The position involves working 37 hours per week across various shifts, contributing to a supportive and effective healthcare environment.

Fixed Term or Secondment for 12 months
An opportunity has arisen for individuals to join a new nursing team and ward that will care for patients from a variety of specialties and conditions pre- and post-surgery. The ward will be open 5 days per week – Monday to Friday and include day and nightshifts. The post is open to candidates interested in 12 month secondment or fixed term initially.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate an ability and passion to deliver high standards of safe, effective and person centred care, which focuses on enhancing the patient’s experience. Applicants should be proactive and be able to inspire and motivate others and demonstrate an ability to implement and manage change through effective leadership.
Relevant theoretical knowledge and clinical experience is desirable and the ability to demonstrate clinical expertise and continued professional develop essential. You must have good communication and leadership skills, and be able to evidence the ability to manage and develop the performance of a team and work effectively as part of a multi-professional / multi-agency team.
