Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to lead our solar PV business growth in the UK/IR market. The role involves developing strategies, managing relationships with key channel partners and distributors, and identifying new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in channel management, experience with main distributors in residential and C&I markets, preferably in solar PV or BESS sectors, and a strong network within the UK solar PV industry. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to expand our footprint in the UK market, analyzing trends and competitor activities.
- Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners and clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- New Partner Acquisition: Identify and onboard new channel partners, evaluating and negotiating terms for seamless integration.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, technical, and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery and support.
- Market Intelligence and Analysis: Monitor market trends, regulations, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Sales Performance Management: Set targets, monitor performance, and develop strategies to meet or exceed goals.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular reports and insights to senior management for strategic decisions.
- Channel Management Experience: Proven ability to develop channel strategies and manage partner relationships in renewable energy sector.
- Key Account Management Skills: Experience managing large key accounts in the UK solar PV market.
- UK Market Network: Established network of UK-based channel partners and clients.
- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship skills.
- Self-motivation and Results Orientation: Independent, goal-driven, with proactive approach.
- Travel Flexibility: Willing to travel within the UK as needed.
Desirable Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of UK solar PV regulations, incentives, and industry trends.
- CRM and Analytics Skills: Experience with CRM and sales analytics tools to inform strategies and track performance.
