About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior CG Generalist focussed on shot production to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior CG Generalist, you'll be responsible for contributing to the shot production pipeline, from anim prep and layout to lighting, rendering, and post-production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Animation Prep and Layout: Prepare scenes for animation, including blocking out camera moves and setting up initial lighting.
• Lighting and Rendering: Create visually stunning images by crafting intricate lighting setups and optimizing render settings.
• Post-Production: Enhance the final look of shots through color grading, compositing, and other post-production techniques.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges related to rendering, lighting, and post-production.
• Rigorous QC: Conduct thorough quality control checks on all shots to ensure they meet the highest standards.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Senior CG Generalist in the film or advertising industry.
• Strong proficiency in Blender and/or Houdini.
• Experience with Nuke is a plus.
• A good understanding of a USD pipeline.
• Deep understanding of lighting, rendering, and post-production techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Shotgrid.
• Proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• A passion for creating stunning visual effects.
