One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior CFD Support Engineer - M-Star in Ireland or United Kingdom.

We are seeking a Senior CFD Support Engineer to become a key technical advisor and subject matter expert in M-Star CFD software. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in computational fluid dynamics, strong scientific modeling skills, and a passion for helping customers solve complex problems. You will play a critical part in providing advanced support, leading demonstrations, managing simulations, and contributing to R&D efforts. Working closely with clients across the life sciences, chemical, and materials industries, you'll bring technical expertise and a consultative mindset to ensure high-impact engagement and customer satisfaction. This is a customer-facing role that blends hands-on modeling with strategic technical support, and includes occasional travel across Europe.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver advanced CFD modeling and simulation solutions tailored to customer needs across the EMEA region.
  • Develop and present high-impact software demonstrations and provide expert advice during evaluations and onboarding.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer support, issue resolution, and scientific troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate software capabilities and support ongoing development.
  • Host regular office hours and training sessions to support customer learning and usage.
  • Create technical documentation, training materials, and internal knowledge base articles.
  • Maintain accurate records of support activities and contribute to product improvements based on user feedback.
Requirements
  • Master's or PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in CFD, process modeling, and simulation, particularly in life sciences or pharma.
  • Hands-on experience with C++, Python, and scientific software tools (e.g., JIRA, Salesforce, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication and customer support skills in technical environments.
  • Familiarity with fluid transport phenomena, digital twins, or reaction modeling is a strong asset.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC, QMS methodologies, and regulatory practices like GMP/GLP is beneficial.
  • Experience in using or supporting solid modeling tools (e.g., SolidWorks, NX) and experimental setups is a plus.
