TÜV Rheinland Solutions is seeking a Principal Technical Safety Consultant specialising in CFD to join our risk and safety practice across the UK, with offices in London, Warrington, Glasgow and Edinburgh. You will lead challenging CFD studies for oil, gas, chemical and clean energy projects and travel to client sites as required.

The role demands a science or engineering degree, 5+ years in CFD for process safety, strong analytical and report-writing skills, and proven leadership in project

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant CFD/technical safety experience.
• Experience in oil, gas, chemical processing or clean energy sectors.
• Strong analytical, numerical and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CFD studies and risk assessments for complex projects across energy sectors.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical delivery and proposals.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support project planning, budgeting and client liaison, including travel to UK sites.
