Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Principal Fire Safety Engineer to lead complex risk management projects for high-hazard sectors, including chemical, oil & gas, clean energy, and nuclear. The role supports strategic leadership and technical delivery, with emphasis on regulatory alignment and client advisory services.

You will mentor a multidisciplinary team, drive the growth of risk and compliance functions, and ensure high standards and timely delivery across assignments.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead risk management projects across sectors.
• Excellent communication and technical report writing skills.
• Experience with multidisciplinary project teams and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects across a variety of sectors.
• Facilitate risk assessments such as HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, FMEA.
• Develop COMAH safe reports and perform QRA/OBRA/ALARP analyses.
• Provide expertise in functional and consequence modelling.
• Drive PS management system development and improvement.
• Manage and mentor junior consultants and support team growth.
• Cultivate long-term client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
