As a Senior CFD Consultant, you will be part of an organisation that is 100-percent employee owned, supporting your career growth and success.

In the role of Senior CFD Consultant, we'll count on you to:

  • Understand and perform technical quality audits on your own work and that of others.
  • Assist and support all aspects of your division's activities and services professionally and proactively.
  • Manage and deliver CFD services to clients in a timely and technically proficient manner.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet business requirements, both in-office and remotely.
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and project teams.
  • Seek input from your division or project teams to complete responsibilities successfully.
  • Maintain professional accreditation(s) and stay informed of relevant industry standards and policies.
  • Handle a wide range of tasks, projects, and queries, ensuring service standards are met.
  • Assist in gathering, monitoring, and reporting data and financial information related to projects.
  • Communicate courteously and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties aligned with the job's scope and purpose.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as timecards, marketing, HR, and procurement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BEng or MSc in Fluid Dynamics, Thermodynamics, or related field; PhD preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of industry experience in CFD modeling and reporting for mechanical systems, with data center experience highly desirable.
  • Membership in industry associations like IMechE, CIBSE, or IET, working towards Chartered status.
  • Proficient in CFD, Thermodynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, HVAC, and ANSYS software.
  • Competent in MS Office, Rhino, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with proactive project management ability.
  • Ability to interpret architectural, civil, structural, MEP drawings and specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or closely related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, controls, and energy modeling software like eQuest.
  • Experience with architectural design processes and energy-efficient lighting systems.
  • Availability to travel out of state.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
