Your role at BRE
The Senior Certification Project Manager will lead the delivery of security product certification projects from initiation to completion. This includes managing technical assessments, client communications, and the production of reports in line with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of security product testing, evaluation, and certification projects
  • Prepare project quotations, test plans, and technical documentation
  • Oversee bespoke certification projects tailored to client specifications
  • Review and approve technical reports and certification outputs
  • Engage with clients, specifiers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support the promotion and development of BRE’s security services at events and exhibitions
  • Represent BRE on national and international technical standards committees.

What we are looking for

  • A strong technical background in security product testing and/or building products, certification, and accreditation
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-phase certification or evaluation projects
  • Familiarity with a broad range of security technologies and how they are specified and used
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards, including ISO 9001 and ISO 27001
  • Excellent organisational, project management and communication skills
  • Ability to review and sign off technical reports and certification documentation
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel
  • Experience engaging with clients and stakeholders across technical and commercial discussions.

Work Location Options

Hybrid – This role offers a mix of home and office working. You will be expected to attend our Watford based office in person twice per month.
