Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Senior CCTV Drainage Engineer in Gateshead to conduct detailed CCTV surveys, inspections and reporting across commercial, industrial and utility clients. You will use WinCan to generate reports and diagnose defects, working with a range of drainage systems.

There is a clear career progression path into lead roles, with manufacturer training, and extensive overtime and callout opportunities. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as CCTV Drainage Engineer or Senior Drainage Engineer.
• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Proficient in WinCan reporting software.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call rota.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out CCTV drainage surveys on foul, surface water, and process drainage systems.
• Produce detailed survey reports using WinCan and industry software.
• Identify drainage defects and provide remedial recommendations.
• Operate CCTV crawler and push-rod survey equipment.
• Ensure safety and company procedures on site.
• Support mapping and condition assessment projects.
