Job summary

Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust is recruiting Band 7 Supervisors to oversee the Education Mental Health Practitioners within MHSTs in Kent and Medway. The role blends supervision with hands-on clinical work and requires ongoing development and training in evidence-based approaches.

The post involves collaboration with the MHST Clinical Lead and Operational Manager, enrolment on EMHP supervisor training, and contribution to service development and national MHST research initiatives.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a professional graduate training (e.g. nursing, social work, occupational therapy, clinical psychology CBT with BABCP)
• Evidence of professional body registration in line with the CAMHS skills framework eg BABCP NMC Social Work England, HCPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in clinical practice and support junior staff to develop CBT skills.
• Attend EMHP supervisor training courses funded by the role and deliver supervision within MHSTs.
• Deliver supervised CBT interventions under the Whole School Approach and contribute to service development and research.
