A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Senior Cognitive Behaviour Therapist in Barnstaple. This role involves providing leadership and developing the CBT service while working with children and young people with mental health challenges. Candidates must be accredited and have strong clinical and supervisory skills. This position offers part-time hours and a salary range of £55,690 to £62,682 per year pro rata.
Job summary
CFHD are excited to offer the opportunity for an experienced Cognitive Behaviour Therapist to join us as an 8a Senior Cognitive Behaviour Therapist.
This role offers strong evidence-based CBT into North Devons multi-disciplinary service as well as developing and sustaining the CBT provision across the county, providing professional leadership for our growing group of CBT Practitioners. The role will be clinically based in North Devon (approximately 2 days per week face on site required) with the opportunity for some flexibility of base within the remainder of the role.

Main duties of the jobAs a Senior Cognitive Behaviour Therapist you will work closely with the Leads for Psychological Professions to support and sustain the CBT Profession within CFHD as well as provide lead contributions to service developments across the service.
You will bring advanced clinical skills to offer complex assessment, formulation, intervention and consultation. You will bring strong clinical supervision skills and leadership capabilities that enable you to support colleagues as well as lead strategic development work. You will have proven experience working positively with inter-agency colleagues. You will have a have a vision for high quality clinical services and be able to enhance the skills and practice of those around you.
There will be CPD opportunities specific to your pathway and to further progress your leadership capabilities.
You will work closely with, and be supported by the Leads for Psychological Professions as well as your peer Professional Leads and Senior Clinical colleagues.
There is an enthusiastic group of CBT Practitioners across the county who will value the developments and cohesion that a professional lead will bring. We have a strong relationship with the local CYP IAPT Training course for CBT and support Trainee roles and Supervisor training across the county.

In the Managing Mood, Emotions and Relationships Pathway, CBT Practitioners work within a strong multi-disciplinary team, providing assessments and therapy to children with complex and enduring mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety-based disorders and Trauma.
