Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is excited to offer a Band 7 Locum Cath Lab Radiographer role in West Hertfordshire. You will join a dynamic cardiac team working in a state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterisation Lab, supporting interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures while delivering high‑quality radiographic imaging.

The post is 30 hours per week (4 days x 7.5 hours) with a pay rate of £26.00–£31.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Proficiency in fluoroscopy and interventional radiographic techniques.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety procedures and quality assurance.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Support interventional cardiac procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment, ensuring optimal imaging quality and patient safety.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient procedures.
• Adhere to radiation protection protocols, infection control policies, and QA standards while delivering patient care.
