Job summary

The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse – Cath Lab to deliver interventional cardiology care within a state-of-the-art hybrid theatre. You’ll work alongside consultants and a multidisciplinary team to support diagnostic and interventional cases while maintaining high clinical standards.

This permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, and a competitive salary plus allowances.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or ODP with current NMC or HCPC registration.
• Experience within a Cath Lab or interventional cardiology setting.
• Understanding of cardiac procedures and patient pathways.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary theatre environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high quality care across interventional cardiology and hybrid theatre procedures.
• Scrub and circulate, supporting consultants during diagnostic and interventional cases.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and elevate any changes appropriately.
• Support the day to day running of the Cath Lab, including equipment and stock management.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards, service improvement and the development of colleagues within the team.
