University of Leeds is seeking student workers for a campus catering role. This part‑time position is up to 20 hours per week, with shifts spanning early morning to evening on campus. Interviews are held in person at University House.
You will assist in delivering a high‑quality service to students, staff, and visitors, working with team leaders to ensure stock, deliveries and service standards are met in line with our campus catering strategy.
This role is only open to existing student workers in the Catering department at the University of Leeds.
Interviews will take place in person at University House on Friday 9th October 2026.
This role will be based on the university campus. This role is up to 20 hours per week on a casual / part time basis, around your studies. Your typical shifts will typically be between the hours of 7:30am to 7:30pm, working a variety of shift patterns.

You will be responsible for assisting in delivering an effective and efficient service in line with our division’s strategy and goals and the smooth running of the catering service. Working in conjunction with the team leaders, you will assist in delivering an effective and efficient campus service to students, staff and visitors in line with the service strategy and goals. You will be responsible for ensuring that the catering services unit operates effectively and ensuring that customer needs and brand standards are always met and adhered to.
You will have experience of working within a catering or retail environment and knowledge. You will contribute to the supervision of catering assistants in your designated area and for ensuring that the monitoring of stock, deliveries and financial procedures are in place to meet all our customer needs.
