Senior Catering and Conference Services ManagerSales & Marketing - Group Sales & Events

The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Senior Catering and Conference Services Manager to join our talented Events Management team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.

In the role of Senior Catering and Conference Services Manager, your key focus will include:

  • Event planning, rooming list co-ordination and BEO details once signed contract has been turned over as ‘Definite’ by the Sales Team.
  • Ensuring high revenue / VIP bookings are handled seamlessly and with extra care and attention to detail.
  • Conducting weekly Group Resume meeting and ensure the effective handover of all Group logistics to the Operations teams.
  • Supporting planners with their own bookings during challenging periods.
  • Assisting with event enquiries as required, primarily focussing on corporate, and supporting social, weddings and short-lead enquiries when required.
  • Driving and championing projects relating to developing the events and catering business.
  • Achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly Catering and Groups revenue goals.

Do you have? –

  • Previous experience within events management in a hotel environment at a manager level
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong administrative and organisation skills
  • Great attention to details
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task a number of different activities
  • Previous use of Opera and Salesforce systems
