About the Company

Grafton Recruitment is working with a large international client to appoint a senior procurement professional with experience in leading software categories. This is an exciting newly created role with a dynamic and growing organisation. About the Role

This role will take responsibility for:

  1. Leading strategy around the software categories internationally.
  2. Working as a subject matter expert on software for the procurement team.
  3. Leading and developing strategy around the supplier portfolio.
  4. Developing and leading high value and complex negotiations for the category internationally.
  5. Leading the relationship with suppliers and managing their performance.

Responsibilities

  1. Previous experience of managing procurement for IT based categories (ideally software focused).
  2. Development and implementation of category strategy.
  3. Strong track record of internal and external relationship management.
  4. Entrepreneurial, with strong commercial and negotiation skills.
  5. Consultative approach, and able to take a client-facing role.

Qualifications

Pay range and compensation package

Salary to £90,000 plus strong benefit package

Hybrid working 3 days in Leeds or London offices.
