Aviva is seeking a Senior Category Manager specialising in Outsourcing to lead third-party spend and strategic supplier relationships. You will develop category strategies, lead sourcing and procurement activity, and negotiate complex contracts to deliver value, performance, and risk management outcomes.

Based in Norwich, York, Leeds or Bristol with 50% hybrid working, the role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a salary of circa £80,000 and a 12% bonus potential, plus a comprehensive

• Proven experience in Procurement, Category Management, SRM or Commercial Management within a financial services, insurance or regulated organisation.

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels of the business.
• Knowledge of outsourcing, BPO or complex third-party service arrangements, including risks.

Senior Category Manager - Outsourcing

12-month Fixed-term Contract

Location: Norwich, York, Leeds or Bristol based (50% hybrid working)

Salary: circa £80,000

This is a great job for someone who has strong procurement, category management or supplier relationship management experience and enjoys working in a complex, fast-paced environment. You'll be confident leading commercial negotiations, influencing senior stakeholders, and managing strategic supplier relationships to deliver value, performance and risk management outcomes. This role would suit someone with experience in outsourcing or business process outsourcing (BPO) categories who is passionate about driving commercial excellence and shaping sourcing strategies that support business objectives.

Please note that we can offer this role as a 12-month Fixed-term Contract basis.

A bit about the job:

As a Senior Category Manager specialising in Outsourcing, you'll play a key role in managing Aviva's third-party spend and strategic supplier relationships. Working closely with business stakeholders, you'll develop and deliver category strategies, lead sourcing and procurement activity, negotiate complex contracts, and ensure suppliers deliver against agreed performance, value and risk requirements. You'll be responsible for identifying commercial opportunities, driving cost efficiencies, managing supplier performance, and supporting outsourcing initiatives that contribute to Aviva's wider business strategy. This is a highly visible role requiring strong collaboration across multiple business areas to deliver the best outcomes for Aviva.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

• Salary - Circa £80,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
