The purpose of this role is to grow the categories that Unilever operates in to ensure their future. In this role, you will deliver best-in-class category and shopper insights to our retailers and our business, developing strategies, solutions, and recommendations to grow our mutual businesses sustainably.

Deliverables

Channel anchor: What is expected?

• Own the overarching category management relationship with the customer/channel, ensuring maximum credibility and trust in our category expertise.
• Be the expert in category management strategies for the customer/channel, knowing key stakeholders, data, milestones, and trends.
• Support strategy development with customer/channel directors, reviewing innovation pipelines and strategy days.
• Governing discipline and resource planning for channel/customer category management teams.
• Develop and coach a team of 2 Category Management Executives.

Responsibilities

• Deep expertise in the category, setting growth drivers, vision, and trends.
• Facilitate understanding of the category through data and insights.
• Build the channel growth model for the category.
• Support category initiatives across customers.
• Champion the category within the team, ensuring understanding and resource alignment.
• Ensure key stakeholders understand category drivers and align with strategy.
