As a Senior Category Manager based in our Warwick OR Chesterfield office, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the development of a cross functional category plan for a number of categories, which includes long-term development strategies in order to deliver the appropriate market position and agreed KPI’s.

• Overall accountability for the creation and management of strategic supplier relationships, as well as working with the Wolseley Strategic Supplier Manager in order to maximise results from the strategic supplier joint business plan.

• Working cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain & Operations teams to implement Category strategies and tactics.

• Accountability for all Category supplier terms negotiations.

• Line management responsibilities, supporting, developing and coaching.

Please note, This is a 9 month fixed term contract.

You will work Monday-Friday 40 hours a week, with hybrid working - remotely 2 days a week. Regular travel will be required to either site, depending on where you are based.

• Category management experience is essential, Multi Utility, Power or Fibre industry experience is advantageous.

• Data-driven and Analytical mindset, experience and knowledge related to the development of internal and external networks

• Confident, influential individual, able to hit the ground running

• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
