Castlefield Recruitment are working in partnership with Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to recruit an accomplished and dynamic Senior Category Manager to join the Procurement Team, focusing on the corporate category area.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust are one of the largest teaching Trusts in England and has an award-winning procurement team! The Procurement and Supply Chain Team consists of over 90 team members, which allows the function to provide a first-class service.
As the Senior Category Manager, you will support and lead on several improvement projects across the department, as well as leading a procurement work-plan in addition to taking ownership of the most complex/niche tendering activities across the department.
You will have management responsibilities for 4 members of the Category team and will be expected to provide advice and guidance to help them further their careers and become more well-rounded procurement professionals.
The role is an NHS Band 8a - £53,755 - £60,504 (+ £3,000 bonus for MCIPS qualified candidates, + £3000 retention bonus after 12 months service (this is payable monthly), plus benefits outlined below.
