Douglas Scott Global Recruitment represents a national Legal 500 firm in Leeds seeking a Catastrophic Injury Team Leader. You will manage a team of fee earners handling high-value cases, including brain and spinal injuries, ensuring technical excellence and outstanding client outcomes.

You will lead, coach, and mentor staff, drive performance against KPIs, and contribute to strategic improvements while maintaining regulatory standards and a client-centric culture in a hybrid/remote working setup.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of CILEX with right to litigate with over 8+ Years PQE.
• Proven experience in personal injury law, with strong exposure to catastrophic injury cases valued over £3m.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong technical expertise and the ability to mentor and develop others.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-driven with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional client care.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of fee earners to achieve high performance and quality standards.
• Oversee complex catastrophic injury cases, providing technical guidance and support.
• Monitor and manage team KPIs, ensuring targets are consistently met or exceeded.
• Promote a client-centric approach, ensuring outstanding service delivery at every stage.
• Identify training needs and support professional development within the team.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and process improvements within the department.
