Job summary

Cape Clarke in Manchester is seeking a Catastrophic Injury Associate to join a national defendant practice. You will handle complex motor and EL/PL claims and contribute to case strategy alongside experienced colleagues.

The role requires around four or more years' PQE in serious injury work; you will own substantial litigation, explain recommendations clearly to clients, and support junior fee earners. Hybrid work with one or two office days weekly.

Qualifications

• Around four or more years' PQE in catastrophic injury/serious injury work.
• Experience supporting less experienced fee earners is useful.

Responsibilities

• Lead conduct of complex motor and EL/PL claims within a national defendant insurance practice.
• Advise insurer and corporate clients, contribute to case strategy and decisions.
• Assess medical and expert evidence, advise on financial exposure, and coordinate with counsel and clients to resolve matters.
