Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking a Major Loss Claims Handler for Catastrophic Injury to join our hybrid-work team in Leicester, London, or Bexhill. You will manage large, complex injury claims with oversight at £3m, driving swift resolutions with stakeholders including insurers, legal and medical professionals.

Qualifications

• Substantial knowledge and experience of settling claims in excess of £1m (including litigation).
• Current ownership of a claims handling authority of at least £3m.

Responsibilities

• Proactively managing a portfolio of high value complex injury claims with authority of at least £3m.
• Drive early and speedy resolution by engaging with customers, insurers, legal and medical professionals.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and training within the team as a technical referral point.
