IPS Group is working closely with a leading specialty insurer to find a Senior Marine Catastrophe Analyst.

This role involves collaborating with Underwriting teams on a portfolio level, reporting and presenting modeling results to guide risk decisions, and overseeing the training and development of a junior analyst, offering opportunities to develop managerial skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven catastrophe modeling experience with a recognized vendor model (Verisk/AIR preferred, but others considered)
• Strong SQL skills and experience with visualization tools like Power BI is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team
