AXA UK is seeking a Catastrophe Management Analyst to join their London team. The role involves pre-underwriting analytics, reporting, and collaboration with underwriters across various lines of business. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, experience in catastrophe modelling, and a numerical degree. The Catastrophe Management function at Markel International is a highly collaborative team which oversees a wide variety of insurance products. We pride ourselves on our high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Catastrophe Management sits in Portfolio analytics, which is different to the traditional market. The portfolio analytics team is a highly regarded team at Markel, which also oversees pricing models and portfolio management. This department allows Catastrophe Management to have access to the business through a unique lens and opens the door to skills outside a traditional team such as Python coding and PowerBI builds.

The role may be required to work over a number of lines of business but will be focused on supporting the Non-Natural Catastrophe team.
