Job Description

Are you an experienced Mortgage Case Manager seeking the next step in your career? Do you want to take on more responsibility within a team and develop relationships both internally and externally? If so, this could be the right role for you.

Our client, based in a modern office on the outskirts of Market Harborough, offers a flexible, hybrid working approach. They provide a wide range of mortgage lending services, with the Case Management team responsible for processing, assessing, and making decisions on new mortgage cases and decisions in principle.

Working in a team of 3-4, this hands-on role involves managing your own mortgage caseload, reviewing, and allocating new mortgage cases submitted to the team.

Responsibilities
  1. Allocate new decision in principle applications and mortgage applications, ensuring cases are assigned based on skills and experience.
  2. Assess new decision in principle enquiries in line with lending policies and underwriter guidance.
  3. Support the underwriting team to ensure smooth progression of mortgage applications.
  4. Conduct initial assessments for decisions in principle on Case Hub and pass cases to underwriters for full assessment.
  5. Identify key risks in mortgage applications during initial assessments.
  6. Develop positive relationships with stakeholders to achieve successful customer outcomes.
  7. Identify process improvements and provide feedback to relevant teams for continual enhancement.

This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in processing mortgages, assessing cases, and making decisions in principle. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage relationships internally and externally are essential.
