As a Bank Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, including training, supervisions, and delegating duties on shift. You will also support the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident family members.
The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Residential Senior Care Assistant. Previous experience in a residential care setting, along with proven team leadership skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions to support residents' needs and wellbeing, is essential.
