Job description

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

• Experience working in a residential setting for older people over 65 years living with Dementia, with a fair understanding of CQC inspections and standards
• Staff management experience, including supervision, training, and handovers
• Ability to manage medications, including ordering, administering, and returns
• Experience as a duty officer in charge of a care home
• Strong prioritization and initiative skills
• Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work and Infection Prevention Control
• Experience with staff rotas, allocation of duties, and shift management (including weekends and Bank Holidays)
• Proficiency in using computers, including sending and receiving emails, and working with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to write reports and send out letters
• QCF (NVQ) in HSC level 3 minimum
