Responsibilities and duties for the Senior Carer role are:

• Delivering high quality personal care to our residents
• Organising and encouraging the care team under the leadership of the duty nurse.
• Setting the standards of care to be delivered in the home.
• Ensuring that every individual within the home has a personalised and meaningful experience of life.
• Participating in nursing procedures to assist our nursing staff - we will provide additional training for senior carer competencies such as medication management, wound care, clinical observations and many more.
• Maintaining the dignity and privacy of residents and respecting their individual needs

Requirements for the Senior carer role:

• We are looking for experienced Senior Care Assistants or motivated and enthusiastic individuals with strong experience in care ready to take the next step into a senior carer position.
• You must have medication training
• You will need a level 3 adult social care qualification, or a level 2 adult social care qualification with care experience and a willingness to complete the level 3 course.

Hours:

• Night shifts - 8pm to 8am

PAY:

As an employee (Age 21 years +) you will earn

· Basic pay of £13.00

· 10% additional pay at weekends

· 50% extra pay on Bank holidays.
