About the role:
As a Senior Carer, you’ll:
- Deliver high-quality, safe and responsive care to clients in their own homes.
- Support clients with personal care, medication administration, and nutritional needs.
- Carry out delegated clinical tasks (following training and competency sign-off).
- Lead and support care staff in the field, including shadowing and spot checks.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and professionals.
- Contribute to care plans and risk assessments to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
- Promote independence and champion client dignity at all times.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in home care or healthcare support (essential).
- A Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or willingness to work towards it.
- Confident in providing personal care and using equipment such as hoists.
- A driver with access to a vehicle (essential due to community visits).
- Excellent communication skills, compassion and a calm, can-do approach.
What We Offer
- Pay: from £13.24 - £13.44 per hour - bank holiday £18.54 per hour
- Plus: Holiday pay, sick pay, pension contributions, and mileage at 30p per mile
