About Us: Oakland Community Care Centre offers a wide range of individually tailored care to suit various needs including 16 long-term residential care and 16 community support beds. Situated just outside of Swadlincote’s town centre. Oakland is proud of its community links, and we share the site with Trident housing.

As a Senior Care Worker with us, you won't just be providing care; you'll be a beacon of support and guidance, helping our care staff shine their brightest. Your role will involve:

Allocating daily tasks within the care team.

Administering medication with precision.

Creating personalised service plans with a focus on person-centred care.

Delivering high-quality care and support to residents with diverse needs.

Qualifications/ Knowledge: The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the management of operational activities, supervising staff, and managing resources. Supervisory and administrative skills are essential. Knowledge of residential care issues and relevant legislation is required together with experience of working with older people in residential care. Must hold NVQ Level II Health & Social Care (Adults).

Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply. Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
