Job summary

The Morewood Centre in Alfreton, Derbyshire County Council, is seeking Senior Care Workers to support adults with learning disabilities and autism. You will work under a Care Lead, assist with daily living, nutrition, hydration, personal care and safe activities, and help create a caring, respectful environment for a range of clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care role is an advantage but not essential.
• Experience in supporting people who may display behaviours that challenge is preferred.
• Kind, compassionate approach with a passion for supporting people with a Learning Disability and/or Autism.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to plan and carry out activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients, tailored to their individual needs.
• Support clients to participate in social activities and maintain their independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely care records.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest standards of care are upheld.
• Working as part of a valued care team you'll be ensuring our clients stay happy, healthy and well.
• Supporting people in the community, either by yourself or with other staff.
