Job summary

Oath Healthcare in Cambridge is seeking a Care Assistant to visit older adults in their homes across Cambridge and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care, assist with medications, and offer companionship, on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off rotation.

A private bedroom and meal allowance are provided for each shift. The role supports one client at a time and offers a clear progression path from Care Assistant to Senior Carer to Care Coordinator to Registered Manager, with advanced training

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of care experience.
• NVQ Level 3 preferred or willingness to work toward it within 6 months.
• No prior care experience required; full training will be provided.
• No live-in experience needed.

Our Cambridge team covers the following locations: Ely, Huntingdon, Newmarket, St Neots, Cambourne, Sawston, Soham. Hospital discharge work mainly from Addenbrooke’s Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital. The office is based in Cambridge.

Oath Healthcare is a CQC‑regulated home‑care provider. Care assistants are employed directly (PAYE) and advanced training is provided. A clear progression path from Care Assistant to Senior Carer to Care Coordinator to Registered Manager is available, with promotion from within a priority.
