Job summary

CrossReach is seeking a Senior Care Worker to lead shifts, deliver person-centred care and support colleagues across the team. You will promote independence and wellbeing while maintaining high care standards in a welcoming setting.

You will need SVQ Level 3, in time SVQ Level 4, PVG clearance and SSSC registration. The role supports professional development within a compassionate, Christian ethos-driven organisation.

Qualifications

Job description

As a Senior Care Worker, you'll play a key role in ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care while providing guidance and support to colleagues across the team. You'll lead by example, helping to create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where residents can thrive.

What you will do

About you

You will be an experienced care professional with a genuine commitment to supporting older people to live well. You'll be confident leading by example, supporting colleagues and making sound decisions when required. Strong communication skills, compassion and a positive approach are essential.

You must hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare and be willing to work towards, or already hold, an SVQ Level 4 qualification. This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC.
