Job summary

Team Leader role in a residential elderly care setting located in Froxfield, Hampshire. You will lead a care team, ensure safe and compassionate support for older adults, and promote dignity and independence in daily care activities.

The position involves supervising shifts, mentoring staff, and collaborating with families and healthcare professionals to achieve the best outcomes for residents. A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent/higher qualification.
• Previous experience in residential or nursing home care.
• Experience as Senior Care Assistant, Care Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Experience with medication administration.
• Understanding of safeguarding and CQC standards.
• Experience completing care plans and documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and mentor care staff to maintain high standards of care.
• Support delivery of safe, compassionate, person-centred care to residents.
• Oversee medication administration and care planning tasks.
