Avon Search advertises a Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader position at an outstanding-rated residential care home in Paignton, Devon. You will lead a care team, deliver person-centred care, and support residents with daily living while maintaining dignity and independence.

Formación

• Experience as Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader in a residential or nursing care setting.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care desirable.
• Medication administration experience desirable.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Leading, supporting and motivating care staff during day shifts.
• Delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Administering and supporting with medication, where trained and authorised.
• Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
• Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and reporting any changes appropriately.
• Promoting independence, dignity, choice and respect at all times.
• Supporting residents to participate in activities and enjoy an active social life.
• Acting as a positive role model and mentor for the wider care team.
• Helping to maintain a safe, friendly and welcoming environment.
